SOOC Saturday ~ Rain, rain…

Slurping Life

The weather today was absolutely dreary -overcast, drizzling rain, gusting winds-  but warm enough to brave the outdoors.

The normally bright, colorful landscape was gone, replaced with a palette of greys and beige that held a strange, haunting beauty of it’s own.

  1. We love waves, and could watch them for hours regardless of the weather.
    Best wishes

  2. I want to live somewhere with water! I am so jealous, bad weather or not!

  3. Ahhhh….I can almost smell the salt water and feel the breeze on my face……”Sniiiiiiiiffff” Yep! I can smell it! :0)

Great photo and relaxing to boot! Least ways it was to me 😉

  6. There is this thing about nature, eh? Just healthy. Feels good. Both come through with your photo and words. Thanks!

  7. I love the perspective of the picture, make me wonder what she is looking at. You can also almost smell the salt air.

  8. Even a rainy day on the shore is better than no day on the shore! I’m always land locked!

  9. What a beautiful view, even in the rain!

  10. Even with the rain the beach is amazing and the ocean just makes it so. Great shot, reminds me a lot of Seattle coastline actually. 🙂

  11. That is a great picture. You are so lucky to live close to the water like that!
